Seniors want to stay sharp as they age, and staying healthy is key to achieving this goal.

Senior health and wellness has a lot to do with how often seniors are getting out and socializing with people their own age.

Seniors need to feel supported and stay engaged actively in their community in order to feel fulfilled, and feeling fulfilled leads to greater health and happiness overall.

Senior health has a lot to do with the amount of “social capital” available to them. How connected they feel to the people around them, how invested they are in improving their community as so on.

It has been proven by research that seniors who participate in more frequent social activity had a smaller chance of developing a disability or cognitive problem with time.

The old adage, “use it or lose it” seems to be more accurate with age.
